Judo

Judo is a martial art and combat sport from Japan known for its throws. It is a Olympic sport were the objective of winning the fight is won by Ippon (Thrown straight on to back) or Osaekomi (Held down for 24 seconds). In MMA most Judokas win there fights by Submission. Judokas in MMA are usually quite succesfull and known for throwing there opponents with ease and there Juji-Gatame (Armbar).

Judo was created in 1882 by Jigoro Kano after he wanted to make Japanese Jujutsu safe to practise as a sport.
