Phil "Mr. Wonderful" Davis (born September 25, 1984 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) is an American professional mixed martial arts fighter. He currently fights in UFC's light heavyweight division.
Background[]
Davis had an outstanding collegiate wrestling career at Penn State, winning an invividual (197 lbs) NCAA title in 2008.[1]He is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Lloyd Irvin.[2] In 2009 he won the No Gi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship as a blue belt in the 221lbs, Super Heavyweight division.[3]

Davis made his UFC debut against Brian Stann on February 6, 2010 at UFC 109.[4] Davis won this fight via unanimous decision.
Davis is next scheduled to face Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi on the preliminary section of the event.
